To achieve certification each website undergoes a manual technical compliance review against WCAG 2.2 to level AA.

The site underwent both a technical compliance audit and robust end to end testing by users with a wide range of disabilities including blind, low vision, dyslexia, colour blindness, mobility impairments, learning difficulties, Deaf, Asperger and anxiety and panic disorder.

All testing is carried out in line with relevant platform specific guidelines, and where applicable, conforms with The Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018. Testing also conforms to Section 508 of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)

Out of the service's control

As the SDK will be embedded within other sites, it is recognised that the following issues are only applicable to the current testing environment and contain content that will be beyond the service's control, when embedded on third party sites (such as page titles).

Client has advised that has been turned off by default. However, can be turned on - client will make clear that if customers turn this on, an appropriate text alternative must be provided. As such the exception granted relating to Non-text Content is granted here. The issue has been left in the body of the report for reference only.

The issue relating to pages titles not updating does remain; however, further to discussion with the client, we recognise that this content is outside of their control.
