To achieve certification each product undergoes a manual technical compliance review against WCAG 2.1 to level AA.

The product is also tested by a team of Users with a wide range of disabilities, including blind, low vision, dyslexia, colour blindness, mobility impairments, learning difficulties, Deaf and anxiety and panic disorder.

All testing is carried out in line with relevant platform specific guidelines, and where applicable, conforms with The Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018. Testing also conforms to Section 508 of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)

Full Journey Description.

Task 1 – Single (path 1)

  1. Fares Data Build Tool - Click ‘start now’
  2. Login (credentials are under important information section above)
  3. Fares Data Build Tool – Click Create ‘NeTEx data for your fares’
  4. Select a fare type – Select ‘Single ticket – point to point’, click continue
  5. Select a passenger type – select ‘anyone’, click continue
  6. Are there time restrictions on your ticket(s)? select yes, click continue
  7. Is there a start time or an end time to this ticket? Select yes, enter start time of 0500 and end time of 2300
  8. Is this ticket only valid on certain days? Select yes, tick all (7) boxes, click continue
  9. Select a service – select service CAT6, click continue
  10. Select a journey direction – select ‘Dale Lane’, click continue
  11. Select an input method – select Upload, click continue
  12. Upload Task 1 CSV file, click ‘Upload and continue’
  13. Match stops to fares stages – change all of the ‘fare stage’ dropdown boxes to any fare stage. Each fare stage must be used at least once to continue. Click continue
  14. How are the tickets sold? Tick ‘test’, click continue
  15. Click ‘add another fare to go direct to Task 2 step 3

 

Task 2  - Single (path 2)

  1. Fares Data Build Tool - Click ‘start now’
  2. Login (credentials are under important information section above)
  3. Fares Data Build Tool – Click Create ‘NeTEx data for your fares’
  4. Select a fare type – Select ‘Single ticket – point to point’, click continue
  5. Select a passenger type – select ‘anyone’, click continue
  6. Are there time restrictions on your ticket(s)? select no, click continue
  7. Select a service – select service 2, click continue
  8. Select a journey direction – select ‘whitely anvenue’, click continue
  9. Select an input method – select ‘Manual Fares Triangle Input’, click ‘continue’
  10. How many fare stages does the service have? select ’20 fare stages or fewer’, click continue
  11. How many fare stages does the service have? Enter 3, click continue
  12. Enter the names of the fare stages in order from first to last – Enter test fare 1, test fare 2, test fare 3. Click continue
  13. Enter the prices for all fare stages in pence – enter 200 into each box, click continue
  14. Match stops to fares stages – change each dropdown box to any value. Each value must be used at least once, click continue
  15. How are the tickets sold? Tick ‘test-test’, click continue
  16. Click ‘add another fare to go direct to task 3 step 3

 

Task 3 – Period (path 1)

  1. Fares Data Build Tool - Click ‘start now’
  2. Login (credentials are under important information section above)
  3. Fares Data Build Tool – Click Create ‘NeTEx data for your fares’
  4. Select a fare type – select ‘period ticket’, click continue
  5. Select a passenger type – select ‘child’, click continue
  6. Do child passengers have an age range? Yes, enter minimum age 5, maximum age 15
  7. Do child passengers require a proof document? Yes, select ‘identity document’, click continue
  8. Are there time restrictions on your ticket(s)? No, click continue
  9. Select a type of period ticket – select ‘a ticket within a geographical zone’, click continue
  10. Upload Task 3 CSV file, click continue
  11. How many period tickets do you have for the selected services? Enter 2, click continue
  12. Enter your product details – enter the following

Product name- test 1

Product price- 2.99

Product duration 1

 

Product name- test 2

Product price- 5.00

  1. Click continue
  2. When does the product expire? Select 24hr for test 1 and calendar day for test 2, click continue
  3. How are the tickets sold? Tick ‘test’ check box for test 1 and for test 2, click continue
  4. Click ‘add another fare to go directly to task 4 step 3

 

Task 4 – Period (path 2)

  1. Fares Data Build Tool - Click ‘start now’
  2. Login (credentials are under important information section above)
  3. Fares Data Build Tool – Click Create ‘NeTEx data for your fares’
  4. Select a fare type – select ‘period ticket’, click continue
  5. Select a passenger type – group, click continue
  6. How many passengers can use this ticket at one time? 3, click continue
  7. Select a passenger type – anyone, click continue
  8. How many passengers can be in the group? Maximum 3
  9. Do anyone passengers have an age range? No
  10. Do anyone passengers require a proof document? No, click continue
  11. Are there time restrictions on your ticket(s)? no, click continue
  12. Select a type of period ticket – ‘A ticket for some or all of your network of services’, click continue
  13. Tick ‘1 - Warrington - Latchford/Westy (Circ) (Start Date 31/08/2020)’, click continue
  14. How many period tickets do you have for the selected services? 2, click continue
  15. Enter your product details – enter the following

  5. Select a passenger type – Select ‘Senior’ then click Continue
  6. Do senior passengers have an age range? – Select No
  7. Do Senior passengers require a proof document? – Select no then click Continue
  8. Are there time restrictions on your ticket(s)? – Select no then click Continue
  9. Select a service – Select ’48 – Start date 31/08/2020’ and then click Continue
  10. Outbound Journey – Select ‘Morrisons, Frodsham…’
  11. Inbound Journey – Select ‘Northwich interchange Stand D…’ then click Continue
  12. Select an input method – Select ‘Upload (.csv) then click Continue
  13. Upload ‘Task 1’ csv then click Upload and Continue
  14. Outbound - match stops to fares stages – change each dropdown box to any value. Each value must be used at least once, click continue

  4. Select a fare type – Select ‘Return Ticket – Single service’ then click Continue
  5. Select a Passenger type – Select ‘Anyone’ then click Continue
  6. Are there time restrictions on your ticket(s)? – Select No then click Continue
  7. Select a Service – Select ‘9A – Start date 278/07/2020’ then click Continue
  8. Select the Inbound and outbound journeys for your service – Select ‘Bus interchange…’ for the first and ‘Northwich Interchange Stand f…’ for the second then click Continue
  9. Select an input method – Select ‘Manual fares Traingle input’ then click Continue
  10. How many fare stages does the service have? – Select ‘20 fare stages or fewer’ then click Continue
  11. Enter 2 and then click Continue
  12. Enter the names of the fare stages in order from first to last – Enter ‘Test Fare 1’ and then ‘Test Fare 2’ then click Continue
  13. Enter the price for all fare stages in pence – Enter ‘200’ then click Continue
  14. Outbound - match stops to fares stages – change each dropdown box to any value. Each value must be used at least once, click continue

Task 7 – Flat fare

  1. Fares Data Build Tool - Click ‘start now’
  2. Login (credentials are under important information section above)
  3. Fares Data Build Tool – Click Create ‘NeTEx data for your fares’
  4. Select a fare type – Flat fare Ticket, click continue
  5. Select a passenger type – anyone, click continue
  6. Are there time restrictions on your ticket(s)? No, click continue
  7. Which service(s) is the ticket valid for? Tick service 47, click continue
  8. Product Name – test, Product Price – 3, click continue
  9. Tick ‘test’ click continue
